Gu Qingxin smiled. How could she not feel the pain? That was her baby, a part of her. Her lower abdomen felt heavy and painful, a result of the surgery to clean her uterus, which would require time to recover.

She knew that the recovery, like the ‘small confinement’ period after childbirth, would require careful rest, otherwise her health could worsen.

However, she couldn’t afford to care too much about that right now.

She did not want Beiming Han to find out about her miscarriage, and she definitely didn’t want him to know that the miscarriage was caused by her blood donation for him.

After Bai Jingqing finished examining Beiming Han, the door to the hospital room opened, and Gu Qingxin came in.
