Chapter 36: This general is expelled.
The mighty Little Peepstar: [Little snippets of this video have been circulating online and I, your mighty little peepstar got my hands on the full video. This peepstar also learned that scuffle which involved the beloved daughter of a certain returnee socialite and a famous space pilot was as a result of the little one’s desire for justice.
As for her reference to herself as a general, this peepstar commends that sweet child and thanks her for the smile she has put on my face today. If I were the emperor, I would be sleeping with one eye open tonight.]
Attached was a full video of the confrontation starting from when Bao Bao tried to steal another child’s lunch and Mei Mei intervened. Bao Bao called her a bully and wild child, then he shoved her. Mingzhu responded by fighting back with all of her might.
[Hahaha...why did she call herself a general in that little voice? I know that I should not say this because they are fighting but it is adorable.]
[The general is a cutie and I mean adorable cutie pie not the minimizing one used by the boy. Who is educating children to say such words anyway?]
[The emperor should be afraid of the little general, I know I am.]
[Returnee socialite and famous pilot equals Jun Meilin and Mo Liang. This one was very easy to figure out. Now, have you figured out why my best celebrity couple has broken up?]
[Is this a school or a fight club? Am I the only one finding it hilarious that others are supporting her to kick the bully’s ass.]
[Do I need a royal decree to slap you!!! Lol, from now on that is what I will say if I am defending myself.]
[I know its funny but please remember that these are children. Where are the teachers?]
[When my boss asks me why I am late for work tomorrow, I will respond with: Do I need a royal decree to arrive late?]
[Brother above, it will better if you say; I need a royal decree to leave my bed in the morning. hahaha] ƒгeeweɓn૦vel.com
[Is it surprising that Miss Jun Meilin’s daughter is giving a beat down to a bully? Before the mother turned into a shadow of herself, she was the head of the anti bullying committee in every school she attended. She would beat up the bellies until they surrendered so she became known as the big bully.]
Mei Mei grabbed the back of her neck and groaned as she read through some of the comments. By her side, Jingzhe was chuckling once again.
Principal Chen cleared his throat. "As you can see, the fight has gone viral not just in our nation but beyond its boarders because of your identity and Mingzhu’s language..." He lowered his spectacles to the bridge of his nose and frowned at Mingzhu. "This general will break down the palace walls!!! Who taught you to speak like that Mingzhu?"
Mingzhu turned and looked at her mother.
Mei Mei averted her eyes and looked at the window. In this case, she was guilty, the words she had used when slapping Mo Liang had been parroted by her daughter.
"Well I am sorry, but this general is expelled." Principal Chen said with a straight face. He had already prepared a document proving the expulsion. "Or you can voluntarily withdraw as I had suggested earlier. A withdrawal will not leave a record on her academic background."
The door to the office was opened then, and all the heads in the office turned to it. They were expecting to see Bao Bao and his mother but instead, a new face entered. It was a face that made three of the four people in the office frown.
Mo Liang strode into the office with over the top confidence as if he owned the place. He was wearing his astronaut jacket, a thing that he did every time he stepped out of the house ever since he returned to earth. It was as if the jacket was glued to his body. His arrival brought chaos, excited children, teachers and press.
"I apologize for my lateness." he flashed his best smile at the principal. "I was at the funeral of my late friend. He died when we were in space, it is such a trying time for all of us." He sat down in the chair opposite the principal and sighed as if he was so sad. "Principal Chen, I am very sorry about Mingzhu’s actions, I have been on the international space station for so long that I have not had time to care about her matters which is why she has become ill mannered."
He turned around and frowned at Mingzhu then looked back at the principal. "Now that I am back, I can promise you that I will educate her to be an upright citizen. There will be no more fighting of any kind..."
Mei Mei opened her mouth and pretended that she was bout to vomit. "Hey, Mo Liang, shut up and stay out of this."
Principal Chen, whose heart was dancing because he had met the famous space pilot Mo Liang frowned. He recalled the peepstar’s post about Mei Mei slapping Mo Liang’s face with a bag. Husband and wife were not on good terms. Was he about to witness another marital dispute between two parents?
Mo Liang was not too pleased to be spoken to in such a tone by Mei Mei. Through gritted teeth, he said, "Dear, let the men handle this."
"Are you stupid?" Mei Mei asked in return. "In this day and age, you can actually make such a statement without shame. We are here to discuss Mingzhu’s school affairs, what does my gender have to do with anything?" She looked at the principal and said stiffly. "Principal Chen, that man and I are getting divorced. Mingzhu’s affairs have nothing to do with him."
Mo Liang slammed his fist on principal Chen’s table. "Jun Meilin." he growled out unhappily.
Principal Chen’s jaw dropped. "Di,,,di,,di,,,divorce?"
Mei Mei did not care who knew about the divorce, she simply did not want Mo Liang to be connected to Mingzhu. He was not a good father, even his appearance here was carefully calculated.
If he had come for Mingzhu, why had he come with reporters? If he was a good father, why was his first act not to ask Mingzhu if she was alright but to apologize for her actions, condemn and blame her. Even Mo Jingzhe who had never been a father in his life had known to comfort Mingzhu first.
"We will withdraw if you still insist on expulsion." Mei Mei said firmly. She looked at her daughter then. "Mingzhu, would you mind going to a new school, mother knows that you have friends here and you will be sad to leave them but mommy is helpless. I cannot force the school to keep you."
Mingzhu was a smart girl, she understood the position they were in now.
"Mommy, Mingzhu is sorry." she looked down at the floor. Fat tears were already flowing from her eyes.
