Chapter 54. The Thrill of Being Seen

Chapter 54: 54. The Thrill of Being Seen

(Third Person POV)

Lying outside on a comfortable mattress, basking in the warm sunlight, Sarah felt at peace. The gentle breeze caressed her bare thighs, carrying the crisp scent of nature. This was her paradise.

A mischievous thrill coursed through her veins as she relished the fact that she wore nothing under her skirt. The idea that a wandering student or a passing hunter might be lurking in the bushes, peeking at her, sent a salacious wave through her body.

She had her sunglasses on, her eyes closed, letting the rhythmic symphony of chirping birds and rustling leaves lull her into bliss.

Then, the rustling grew louder.

Something—or someone—was approaching.

Her pulse quickened with anticipation. Was it a person? A man? The mere thought made heat rush through her body.

But when she opened her eyes, the pleasure drained from her face.

Standing a few meters away, frozen in place, was Asher.

Her stomach twisted. She was expecting an oblivious student, an unknowing spectator—not him.

Worse, she couldn’t ignore the visible bulge in his sweatpants.

She felt annoyed as she closed her thighs. "And what do you want? Didn’t I give you a task to do?"

Her sharp tone snapped Asher out of whatever fantasies he had fallen into in his mind.

"Urgh... I’m done with the task." He tossed a handful of glowing monster crystals onto the ground.

Sarah’s brows lifted in suspicion. "You didn’t steal these from the others, did you?"

"Nope. Killed them myself."

She wanted to doubt him, but after witnessing his duel with Hilary Martinsville the other day, she knew this boy was capable of anything.

Still, she wasn’t going to make things easy for him.

"Then go hunt more."

"Argh, come on, ma’am!"

Sarah’s gaze darkened. "You got a problem with that?"

"Yeah. Those monsters are too weak for me. I’d just be taking them from the other students." He shrugged, stepping closer.

Something in his stare sent a thrill down her spine. It wasn’t just a glance—it was as if he were peering straight into her insides.

Her breath hitched, her pussy getting wet.

Why was this turning her on?

Instinctively, she glanced around to check for any wandering students.

The coast was clear.

Then a wicked thought crept into her mind. What if she teased him? Just a little?

Smirking, she parted her thighs slightly, her eyes locked onto his face, showing him just a glimpse of her paradise.

Surely, any second now, he’d blush, panic, and run away like all the other boys his age. That’s what she thought.

But he didn’t.

Instead, Asher smirked. And then, without hesitation, he stepped forward and sat beside her on the mattress.

Her heart lurched.

She snapped her legs shut, her cheeks reddening with blush. What was this boy’s deal?!

Most boys his age would be flustered, embarrassed. But Asher... he wasn’t backing down.

Her teasing had backfired.

"Open your thighs, ma’am."

Sarah’s breath caught in her throat. "W-What?"

Asher’s voice remained eerily calm. "I said, open your thighs."

She forced out a nervous laugh, trying to regain control of the situation. "Are you out of your mind, boy? I’m way too old to—"

"But you enjoy it, don’t you?" He tilted his head, watching her with sharp, knowing eyes. "Letting random people see your nakedness?"

A chill ran down her spine.

How did he...?

She swallowed hard. "I-I don’t. What makes you think—"

"I know your kink, ma’am." His smirk widened. "You’re an exhibitionist, aren’t you?"

Her heart thundered. How did he know?!

Her voice came out weak. "W-Who told you that?"

Asher leaned closer. "Don’t worry. I won’t tell a soul."

She exhaled in relief—

"But only if you spread your legs for me."

A sharp gasp escaped her lips. Was this boy blackmaing her now?

For the first time in years, she felt exposed.

To think he had seen through her carefully crafted facade, the elegant masquerade she had worn so well.

Asher gently placed his hands on her knees, slowly parting her legs apart. For a moment there, she didn’t resist, but before she fully exposed herself to him, her body reacted before her mind could catch up. She slapped him across the face and then she stood, hands on her hips, glaring down at him, trying to ignore the way her pulse hammered, and how her pussy yearned for his touch.

"I don’t know who told you those lies, but don’t you dare touch me again! You understand?!"

Asher merely smirked, rubbing his cheek as he rose to his feet.

The bulge in his pants was even more harder, and bigger now.

Sarah’s gaze flickered downward for just a second—just a second—and she nearly gasped.

Just how big was this boy?

She found herself feeling curious.

No. This was dangerous. She wasn’t gonna fall for the temptation.

Without another word, she spun on her heel and stormed toward her tent, leaving Asher behind—hard, smirking, and utterly unshaken.

Meanwhile, deep in the dungeon, things weren’t as easy smooth going as Sarah had imagined.

Sure, the monsters were weak but Lorraine wasn’t satisfied. Defeating mere goblins wasn’t enough.

She needed more.

She needed something that would solidify her reputation as the strongest among her classmates.

Leading her group deeper into the dungeon, she glanced back at Anna, who trudged behind them, a massive bag of monster crystals strapped to her back.

She was nothing more than a pack mule to them.

Anna clenched her fists. This wasn’t fair.

"Guys... the teacher said our individual contributions will affect our grades. I need to hunt too."

Lorraine barely spared her a glance. "You’re just a low-level healer, Anna. You’d only get in the way."

The words stabbed.

Anna’s lips pressed into a thin line as she lowered her gaze.

They didn’t see her as a teammate.

Just a burden.

Her fingers tightened around the straps of the bag. She wanted to fight. She wanted to prove she wasn’t useless.

But the words wouldn’t come out.

Lorraine led them into a deeper floor, and got inside what looked like a boss room.

The moment they entered, the stone door slammed shut behind them.

The air changed, and became thick with malice as a shadowy figure in a black, tattered cloak with a skeletal face appeared. It levitated on air, and didn’t seem to have any legs. Only skeletal hands.

Lorraine scoffed and stepped forward. "Watch what it means to be a hunter, you worthless noble."

Her question was directed at Anna. She cast a high-level water spell against the skeletal monster—

But it passed right through it like it was thin air.

Her smirk faltered. Instantly.

Before she could react, the monster summoned a massive scythe into its hands and swung it, producing a wave of wind that sent them flying.

Their screams echoed as they crashed against the rock wall, blood splattering.

Anna staggered to her feet, shaking.

Lorraine groaned, clutching her ribs—then turned to Anna with a smirk.

"You wanted to fight, right?"

Before Anna could react, Lorraine shoved her forward, straight toward the monster.

Anna froze in terror.

The monster lunged at her, raising its scythe at her—

And then...
