In just a moment, Qin Muni snapped back to reality, realizing her own impropriety, she quickly picked up the tea in front of her and took a gentle sip to cover her embarrassment.

And her fair cheeks were flushed red due to her earlier wild imaginings.

The board member sitting next to her noticed her odd expression and quietly asked, "Munni, are you okay?"

Qin Muni quickly shook her head, indicating she was fine.

Throughout the meeting, she was trying hard to control herself, avoiding letting her gaze drift toward Xu Yisen.

The board meeting lasted nearly two hours before it ended. After Xu Yisen got up to leave, the other board members also stood up to leave.

Just as Qin Muni reached the conference room door, Tang Haoliang approached her and spoke respectfully, "Miss Qin, the chairman requests your presence."

Hearing this, Qin Muni continued her steps with composure, glanced at Tang Haoliang who was beside her, and asked, "What’s this about?"

"The chairman didn’t specify."

Qin Muni paused in front of the elevator, lifted her wrist to take a glance at her watch, and after hesitating for three seconds, nodded, "Hmm."

The elevator opened, and Qin Muni stepped in first, followed by Tang Haoliang.

"Secretary Tang."

"Miss Qin, please go ahead."

"Is your chairman getting engaged to Xia Yuge?"

Qin Muni’s sudden question left Tang Haoliang a bit puzzled, "Huh?"

A moment later, he immediately realized Qin Muni must have taken the online rumors seriously, and quickly explained on behalf of Xu Yisen, "No such thing."

"Then the good news should be coming soon." Qin Muni glanced up at the numbers changing on the elevator, and added in a low voice, "After all, they’ve liked each other for so many years."

Before Tang Haoliang could finish speaking, the elevator doors automatically opened. Qin Muni, seemingly uninterested in hearing Tang Haoliang’s defense of Xu Yisen, knowingly impolite, still left without letting him finish.

Xu Yisen’s other secretary, Wang Ruoran, bent over in salute upon seeing Qin Muni and respectfully spoke, "Miss Qin, hello, the chairman is already waiting for you in the office. Please follow me."

After Qin Muni nodded, Wang Ruoran led the way.

Upon reaching Xu Yisen’s office, she courteously extended her hand to knock on the door, and after receiving a response from Xu Yisen inside, she turned the doorknob and opened the door for Qin Muni.

"Miss Qin, please come in."

"Thank you."

Qin Muni politely thanked Wang Ruoran, then walked past her into the office. Wang Ruoran carefully closed the office door, leaving only Qin Muni and Xu Yisen in the large office.

Qin Muni glanced at the man working at the desk, walked to the sofa, sat down, and asked, "Is there something you need from me?"

"Yes."

Xu Yisen put down the pen in his hand, stood up, picked up a file folder from the desk, walked over to the single sofa next to Qin Muni, and handed her the file folder.

Qin Muni did not reach out to take it, she simply raised her eyebrows slightly and looked at Xu Yisen with a puzzled expression, "What’s this?"

"These are some outstanding designers that Secretary Tang found for you, inside are a few of their design works, see which one aligns with your vision."

Only then did Qin Muni reach out to take the file folder, realizing Xu Yisen was helping her select a designer for the restaurant. She politely murmured a thank you, "Thank you very much."
