Chapter 596 - 594: AMBASSADOR 9

Chapter 596: Chapter 594: AMBASSADOR 9

Diamond wasn’t done with her answer, despite saying so much. After all, she was starting from the root of the cause, which slowly led to the current moment.

"After saying all that, I can summarize my vision as that of seeking companionship and sharing any funny or sorrowful detail of my life with those who care about me.

At the same time, I have a selfish vision or dream. Frin City healed me a lot. I don’t dare think about myself going elsewhere to live and leave all this behind.

Because of that, I wish to see this city becoming very popular. If possible, let it upgrade to a higher tier. Let the whole world know that in Orkney, there is a country called Athary and in that country, a city called Frin exists.

To achieve that, I will work my utmost best to let everyone see how wonderful this city is. Who knows? Maybe one day I will become the mascot of Frin City!"

Diamond’s reasons for starting this journey truly took everyone by surprise, especially the last part.

To think that she still has the city at heart, the citizens were quite touched.

Of course, there were other people who thought otherwise, but their thoughts were drowned as the support was higher than the opposition.

After so many ups and downs, the press conference finally came to an end, making a lot of people feel regret. Fortunately for the JEWELS, Diamond’s broadcast was still ongoing.

On the scene, Diamond was busy talking with the reporters, who took the first chance after the cameras stopped rolling to get to know her.

Since these reporters were good and very polite to her throughout the hour or so press conference, she entertained them.

It was at this moment that those precious business cards made for her were finally of use.

"Ms. Diamond, you have never had an official interview. Will it be possible to have one another day?"

This was a question that every reporter around wanted to ask and a question that she was looking forward to hearing as well.

With a smile on her face, she looked at the reporter before her gaze swept over the others, making them feel nervous for a moment.

Thankfully, she didn’t mean to make them feel like that for long.

"That’s a good question. I haven’t done any official events before. And since you are here, I guess that we can discuss it. Instead of favoring one over the other, why not accept all of your invitations?" she suggested, feeling generous.

"This ... can it be done?"

Diamond grinned as she waved her hand dismissively, answering, "It can be done. We just need to make a schedule. Anyway, we can talk further later. Here is my business card. Just leave me an email and someone will get back to you," handing over her business cards.

When that was said, they no longer had any reason to grumble. They accepted the business cards and chatted with Diamond for a bit before excusing themselves.

They still needed to deal with the reports. The iron should be hit when it’s still hot.

With the reporters no longer surrounding her, Diamond took a look at her phone, checking the broadcast. And when she saw the comments, her face twitched, making those watching her make fun of her.

She couldn’t help but roll her eyes at no one in particular. However, those who were watching found it cute that they wanted her to repeat it again.

Diamond ignored these crazy people and stashed her phone away.

"Now that this is done, how about I take a tour and let those watching see around?" Diamond turned to Manager Babin and asked.

Manager Babin didn’t object to this. After all, there wasn’t anything to hide at the foundation and since the boss suggested it, who was she to refuse?

With the permission granted, Diamond rose to her feet as she spoke. "We have received support. So, for a while, I shall be going around the foundation and with manager Babin’s support, we will learn more about the operations of the foundation.

This way, those who are willing to donate a bit of what they have to the foundation in the future, would understand what is happening."

Letting the fans understand how the foundation operated, where it was and was the purpose of her continuous broadcast.

She didn’t want to have a separate broadcast again. She would be busy in the following days, and wouldn’t have time to do any broadcasts. So, dealing with the matter now was the only choice.

With how enthusiastic her fans were, it seemed to be the right choice, as they were eager to see the place as well.

***

While Diamond was busy showing the fans around and letting them understand more about the foundation, she was making the headlines once more.

The marketing accounts were quite fast and so were the broadcasting channels which interviewed her.

Online, there were several headlines, which made passersby, even from other cities, curious and stop by for a look.

In several places, people who would make others swoon and squeal with happiness could be seen talking about this matter. Others were happy, while others seemed very disturbed.

In Srad, Elaine crashed a set of cups as she looked at how these shameless accounts were praising Diamond to the nines. While others were talking about the shameless friend and ex who betrayed her.

How could she bring such an old matter again?

Elaine held her bulging belly with her face contorted as if she had drunk sour medicine. If it wasn’t for the belly, she had protected with everything that she had, she would have gone on a rampage.

However, she understood priority. If she loses this child, then she will be doomed.

She failed to deal with Diamond before and even lost face because of her underhand tactics. Because of that, she learnt restrains.

Until the baby was delivered, she would pretend the other didn’t exist.

If only that was possible.

On the other hand, Elaine’s husband was watching the broadcast with a resigned gaze. After so many attempts to get hold of Diamond, but failed miserably every single time. He even suffered a malicious attack, which sent shivers down his spine.

It was then that he accepted fate. The two of them were impossible. He had hurt her so much back then. It was a miracle that she didn’t come for them now that she was standing on another level.

Although it was regretful that he wouldn’t be able to see her the way he wanted, maybe this was good. After all, a person should be satisfied with what he has.

Having such kind thoughts, Donald could only watch the broadcast with a broken heart.
